Spring Equinox Ceremony Honoring the Goddess Ostara
& the Faeries of Springtime!
Ceremony Date & Time: Thursday, March 20th 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Arrival Time: 5:30-6pm
Sharing Circle & Feast 8-9pm
As the Wheel of the Year turns and the light of day grows stronger, we gather in a sacred ceremony to welcome the Spring Equinox—a time of renewal, balance, and blossoming potential. Join us in honoring the radiant Goddess Ostara, the bringer of dawn and new beginnings, along with the mystical fae who dance between worlds, weaving enchantment into the fabric of our reality.

The Goddess Ostara, is an ancient Germanic deity associated with spring, renewal, and fertility, who represents a powerful feminine archetype that has endured in cultural and spiritual traditions. Ostara is primarily known through references to Eostre, a Germanic goddess. the month of April, which was once called Eosturmonath, was named after the goddess, and pre-Christian Anglo-Saxons celebrated her during this time.
Her mythology is also linked to the fertility of the land, the awakening of animals. Ostara is connected to symbols which are a part of the modern day Easter celebrations, such as the hare and the egg—both of which are potent representations of rebirth and fertility.
The ancient Germanic people honored Ostara through sacred rites of renewal. They gathered in joyful celebration, drinking cannabis-infused ales, feasting upon the sacred hare, and joining in ecstatic union beneath the warm light of the spring sun. These sacred gatherings, led by priestesses and wise women, wove together song, dance, and the revelry of divine love, calling forth the fertile energies of the Earth to ensure the abundance of the coming year.

As the wheel of the year turns and the Spring Equinox dawns, the veils between realms grow thin, and the fairies emerge from their winter slumber to dance in the golden light of renewal. These luminous spirits, guardians of the earth's awakening, weave their enchantments through the blooming meadows and whisper to the budding flowers, coaxing life from the fertile soil. The fairies, sacred daughters of the wild, are the essence of balance—where light and dark embrace in perfect harmony upon this sacred threshold of Ostara. With gossamer wings and playful hearts, they revel in the verdant rebirth, carrying the blessings of the Goddess upon the breath of the warm spring breeze. To honor them is to honor the eternal cycle of life, the divine feminine's embrace, and the boundless magic that stirs within all things.

The Morning Glory, with its vibrant blue petals and spiraling vines, is a messenger of the faerie realms and a sacred flower of the heart chakra. These blossoms open with the sunrise, embodying the energy of awakening, intuition, and divine connection. Their ethereal presence invites us to soften into the magic of the unseen, opening portals to realms where nature spirits, faeries, and elemental beings dwell.
