The Plant Spirit Medicine Society  is a registered non-denominational, non-profit Society & a registered Church which was formed in Roberts Creek, British Columbia Canada in October of 2016. We are a community of like minded people who strive to encourage & uplift one another.

The foundation of our Religion is Music & Plant Spirit Medicine.

 

Our Church is not Religious or Dogmatic. We consider ourselves Spiritual. Our Temple is Mother Nature. We revere all aspects of Mother Nature as Sacred & honor her Plant Spirit Medicines as sacraments. We believe it is the birthright of all living beings to have access to Mother Earth's plant medicines. We honor Music as a vessel to the Divine & believe a connection with the Divine may be achieved through ecstatic states of consciousness.

Our mission is to connect our members with a variety of tools, services & conscious gatherings, centered around Music and to provide our members access to Plant Spirit Medicine gatherings, workshops & ceremonies in a safe & intentional setting. It is our goal to support one another on our collective evolutionary path toward ascension. 

 

We all deserve to thrive! Together we are a strong, loving & compassionate community within a community! We believe that music can be used as a vehicle to help people to reach transcendental states of consciousness.

We believe that both Music & Plant Spirit Medicines have the power to heal and unite our World! Many of our gatherings include Live Music, Sacred Sound Baths, Ecstatic Dancing & the opportunity to commune with various Plant Spirit Medicines in a safe & sacred setting.

Ecstatic dance is defined as "a form of dance in which the dancers, sometimes without the need to follow specific steps, abandon themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and a feeling of ecstasy!"

We are pleased to currently be offering Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies for women which are centered around music & include singing, shamanic drumming & ecstatic dance.

We also Offer: Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies for Couples & Plant Spirit Medicine Workshops, Ceremonies & Intentional Music gatherings for the whole community. Please feel most welcome to contact us for more information.

Our Mission is to provide our members with access to Plant Spirit Medicines & a variety of Uplifting Gatherings & Ceremonies featuring music as a common thread.  We believe everyone has the ability to connect with their higher self, develop their intuition & become a fully awakened spirit residing in a human body. Our Vision

Our Vision is to help to bring our like minded conscious community together to celebrate life and to support one another to connect with our higher selves, cultivate more inner peace, joy & healing & evolve toward our highest spiritual potential. We believe as each person evolves, we help to contribute to & inspire the Collective Global Expansion of the Consciousness.

One of our goals is to secure land on the Sunshine Coast of BC where we will offer Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies, Intentional Live Music Gatherings, co-create community gardens &  build a Safe Haven for all of our members.

In the present moment we offer such gatherings & ceremonies at our Plant Spirit Medicine Forest Sanctuary location in Roberts Creek BC and at our Temple Space located at a Private Residence in Wilson Creek, BC. In addition, we also rent spaces from time to time to host larger gatherings.

We honor Paje Putanny Yawanawa in our Ceremonies....

Our Plant Spirit Medicine Society Founder & Ceremony Facilitator, Renee Boje, honours Putanny Yawanawa as her Spiritual Mother. Putanny, along with her sister, Hushahu were the first women to be recognized as shamans in the Yawanawa Tribe, located in the Brazilian Amazon. You may view videos of Putanny & Hushahu below.

 

Renee has a deep Love & Profound respect for the Yawanawa lineage, their Saitis (Sacred songs which carry a healing vibration) & traditions. She is devoted to building a Rainbow Bridge between the Sunshine Coast of BC & the Yawanawa Tribe in the Brazilian Amazon.

We sing Yawanawa Saitis  in most of our Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies & do a deep study of these Saitis in our Plant Priestess Initiation course. We also recite prayers in the Yawanawa language. Renee is devoted to preserving the sacred teachings of the Yawanawa lineage by sharing all she has learned and continues to learn in her studies with the Yawanawa tribe. Renee & the women of the Plant Spirit Medicine Temple are raising funds to bring Paje Putanny Yawanawa to Canada to hold Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies & Workshops for the women of our church here on the Sunshine Coast. Our Plant Spirit Medicine Temple also intends to bring a variety of Female Medicine Women here to hold workshops & ceremonies for our community.
