Winter Solstice Ceremony • Saturday, December 20th • 3-5 pm

A Sharing Circle & Feast to Follow

Return of the Light through the Blue Lotus Flower * A Winter Solstice Priestess Rite of the Goddess Isis

Ignite your inner light this December as we gather in sacred Ceremony to honor Isis, Egyptian Goddess of Magic, Healing, and Rebirth, and to celebrate the turning of the wheel toward the Winter Solstice - the ancient threshold between darkness and the returning light.

In this season when the world is hushed beneath winter’s cloak, we turn inward to listen for what is quietly stirring to begin anew.

  • The Blue Lotus, beloved flower of Isis, becomes our guiding light

  • Her blossoms opens within our own deep waters,

  • Her soul awakens our ow light within the fertile dark,

  • Her seed of resurrection cradles us in the silence before dawn.

You are warmly invited to a Magical Women’s Shamanic Drumming & Blue Lotus Flower Ceremony, weaving together ritual, movement, song, and the ancient sacrament of the Blue Lotus - the mystical Blissful 3rd Eye Opening flower of Isis herself.

What We Will Share Together

This ceremony includes:

  • A grounding ritual
to root your energy, soften your breath, and open your body as a vessel for magic.

  • A sacred invocation of the Goddess Isis
We will offer two devotional invocation songs to call her forth, weaving our voices into a living prayer that awakens her luminous presence within the temple space.

  • Optional Sacred Movement
Throughout the ceremony, you are welcome to move, sway, or dance as you feel called.
Some experience the medicine of Isis through stillness, others through the grace of the body in motion.
    All expressions are honored.

  • A Shamanic Drumming Journey
We will drum together for 20 minutes, creating a rhythmic portal through which visions, guidance, and ancient feminine remembrance may rise.
The shared drumbeat becomes the pulse of the ceremony itself.

  • Meditative Integration Time
After the drumming, we will invite deep stillness.
This is a space for receiving healing, insight, or personal messages from Isis and the Blue Lotus.
Journaling is welcome during this time.

  • A gentle Closing Ritual
to seal the ceremonial portal, offer gratitude, and honor the energies we have awakened.

  • A Sharing Circle and Shared Potluck Feast
We will complete our gathering in warmth and connection, sharing reflections and a potluck feast prepared with offerings from each participant—nourishing body, heart, and spirit together.

Communion with the Blue Lotus Sacrament

Across the temples of ancient Kemet, the Priestesses of Isis were said to commune with the Blue Lotus Flower -

The sacred blossom of dreams, intuition, ecstasy, and divine remembrance. The lotus rises each dawn from the dark waters, opening to the sun as a symbol of awakening. So too has it long been used as a sacrament for opening the heart, softening the veils, and attuning the spirit to the unseen.

Throughout our ceremony, you will be gently invited - only if you feel called - to receive the Blue Lotus sacrament in two traditional forms:

Blue Lotus–Infused Organic Red Wine

A sensual, heart-opening elixir crafted with whole lotus blossoms.
This offering is known to relax the body, quiet the mind, and open the inner senses, allowing visions, softness, and intuitive clarity to rise like light from deep water.

Blue Lotus Flower Smoke from the Ceremonial Hookah

A fragrant, tobacco-free smoke that carries the essence of the lotus directly into the breath.

It is an ancient-feeling communion - subtle, euphoric, bliss-evoking - offered with prayer as the lotus unfurls its medicine through inhale and exhale.

All Blue Lotus offerings are received with reverence and intention.
They serve as companions on the path of remembrance - guiding the body into ease, the heart into openness, and the spirit into quiet communion with Isis, She Who Restores the Light.

"The space Renee Boje holds in ceremony is incredible, her ability to connect to spirit and a safe space for women is profound. She is very intuitive which makes her a great space holder and able to tune into the energy in the room and feel where everyone is at is a gift.  Her connection to herbal medicine is so deep. She has definitely been a medicine carrier in other lifetimes. She is extremely  knowledgeable on how to assist women on their healing journey and is also a herbalist. If you have never taken any of her courses or workshops I would highly recommend you do and you will find out for yourself just how special she is"

"I have been involved as a volunteer and member of Renee's church, Ceu das Sereias, for a few years now. My life is radically different from before I became involved. Renee knows how to authentically create a safe and loving space for people from all walks of life, especially women. Her talents are immeasurable and include, but are not limited to; effectively holding space, ceremony leadership, relationship coaching, esoteric and Occult teachings, massage, natural product manufacturing, community leadership, musical direction and the list goes on.

Under Renee's direction and guidance I have been able to heal many traumas from my past, as well as develop my own unique form of manifestation.

Renee has much knowledge that we may only dream of, and if you have the opportunity to learn from her, you should jump at the chance.

I am grateful to have met Renee in this lifetime and I hope to meet her in the next."

"Renee holds a very loving and safe space, in which I feel so seen, heard, and welcome by her angelic presence. Her abundance of knowledge and experience gained from her own studies, guides and her spiritual teachers is easily felt, and creates a sacred container full of hope, healing, and awakenings. The practices I have learned from being in her circle are ones I will take with me through my life, and the wisdom and acceptance I have recieved from her and the other women in the group has helped me set my heart free. Renee truly is a healer and a wonderful teacher, and I am honoured to be not only learning to heal myself, but how to hold a healing, safe and visionary space for others!"

We honor Paje Putanny Yawanawa in our Ceremonies....

Our Plant Spirit Medicine Society Founder & Ceremony Facilitator, Renee Boje, honours Putanny Yawanawa as her Spiritual Mother. Putanny, along with her sister, Hushahu were the first women to be recognized as shamans in the Yawanawa Tribe, located in the Brazilian Amazon. You may view videos of Putanny & Hushahu below.

Renee has a deep Love & Profound respect for the Yawanawa lineage, their Saitis (Sacred songs which carry a healing vibration) & traditions. She is devoted to building a Rainbow Bridge between the Sunshine Coast of BC & the Yawanawa Tribe in the Brazilian Amazon.

We sing Yawanawa Saitis  in most of our Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies & do a deep study of these Saitis in our Plant Priestess Initiation course. We also recite prayers in the Yawanawa language. Renee is devoted to preserving the sacred teachings of the Yawanawa lineage by sharing all she has learned and continues to learn in her studies with the Yawanawa tribe. Please feel welcome to listen to some of the Beautiful Saitis sung by Putanny Yawanawa in our gallery below.

Renee & the women of the Plant Spirit Medicine Temple are raising funds to bring Paje Putanny Yawanawa to Canada to hold Plant Spirit Medicine Ceremonies & Workshops for the women of our church here on the Sunshine Coast. Our Plant Spirit Medicine Temple also intends to bring a variety of Female Medicine Women here to hold workshops & ceremonies for our community.
